MORGAN, EISENBERG'S, AND SPLIT PANTS

Our poor Morgan.
She finally talked PaPa Gary into taking her to Eisenbergs Skate Park.
She had a ball. REMEMBER - she's only 6.
She checked out all the ramps, and got up enough nerve and did conquer the 3 foot ramp.
NOT ENOUGH !
She decided to check out the taller ones.
COULD SHE GET UP THE NERVE?
She finally decided on a test to see if she could do it.
She figured if she could slide down it, she could skate down it.
OOPS!!!! NO BARE BUTT SKATING ALLOWED !THE LONESOME WALK FROM THE SKATE PARK TO THE CAR!
THE COLE'S WINE TASTING EVENT

Take 6 friends, 6 bottles of wine, and some fabulous hor d'oeuvres, and there's no way you can lose.
Sheila came up with appetizers that matched 3 red and 3 white tasting wines.

We ate quiches, chicken curry cups, truffle pate, teriyaki meatballs, cheeses, olives, and I can't remember what else.
The Rules: The wine name is concealed during tasting.

Each person tries to match a description of the wine with the bottle number.

This is a serious test, no copying from your neighbor!
We had a very "paced" wine tasting..... keeps everyone sober, and focused.

There was one wine that was described as having a hint of "cat".

Almost everyone got this one correct. The name of the wine?
Cat Pee on a Gooseberry Bush.
Same old storey (no, I didn't misspell that....)
Ralph got the most correct answers.
Before you get too impressed.... it was only 2 correct out of 6.
The prize was a bottle of wine, a beautiful wine caddy bag, and a no-drip pouring spout. We ended the tasting with a custard/blueberry shortcake and some "ice" wine.
If you don't know what an "ice" wine is, then you need to become one of Sheila's buddies so you can go to her next wine tasting event!
We called it an evening, and we were all home safely by 11:30 pm.
