MERRY CHRISTMAS 2010

I hope all of you had a great Christmas. We sure did. The girls told me to come over to their house at 6:30 am. Well, they didn't get up until 7:30. That's what happens when you're still on the sick side. Eric read from the bible, then the dogs got to start on their presents. Once Annie (long haired weiner dog) gets started, she doesn't want to stop. She loves to eat the treats, but loves opening them even more. Poor stupid Coco (she's a BLONDE poodle) can't open them, so she takes them to someone who will open them for her. Because of that delay, Annie eats about 2 to Coco's one.

Then the girls started on their gifts. Before I forget, Gary and I argued all week because I wanted a new cargo carrier for the trailer hitch on my Expedition. He had gotten me one earlier, but it was flimsy. I finally relented not to get a new one, but asked for a canvas square cargo carrier for the top of the car. Ok..... he got me one, but it was no where like the one I asked for. He got a hard one. For the life of me, I don't understand that man. Anyway, Christmas morning.....

Yes, I was a happy camper. He also wanted to get me a new iphone, but I told him I wanted to wait until AFTER our vacation. I had too much to do to go with him to get it, and I didn't want him going alone. I could have had Angie get it on the internet, but then it would have come in while we were gone. I got camera and computer stuff from Angie's family. Eric bought me my traditional Xmas gift.... a new set of storage containers. I also got a winter BCG warm up set, some snow boots, new dishes,I can't remember what else. The most important was the cargo carrier for the hitch.

Here are a few Xmas morning pictures. First up.... Morgan waiting for us to arrive.

Chloe loved her ski hat. She wore it the rest of the morning. Morgan got a black one, but didn't really care for it.... even though it matched her snow boarding suit.

I came home while Gary stayed to play with the girls for an hour. Then he left for Houston to take Dad to stay with Janice (baby sister) while we're in Colorado. He should be home by 11pm. I know he's really going to enjoy our 12 hour car trip tomorrow. Guess Angie and I will do most of the driving. I am going to close for the night. Hopefully I'll have some good pictures throughout the upcoming week to blog.
