Thursday, and we're off!

Yesterday, instead of packing for my 4 day golf trip to Glen Rose with Sheila and the AT&T gang, Margie talked me into going with her, Paula, and Kathy to play Lantana CG, in Lantana Texas.  It was a coupon I had won at the FWGA Spring Fling, and given to Margie cause I had too much going on this week.  As luck would have it, she conned me into going also.  It normally costs $100 to play there.... ouch, so it's a good thing I wond the outing for four. 

 I shot like crap, but that course is beautiful, and shows no indication of any drought in Texas.  After golf, we all headed to Marcus in Creek II for lunch on their patio.

The food was good, just a little pricey for lunch, but they all chipped in and bought my lunch since I provided the free golf, and drove.  After that we all went shopping at "Beyond the Door".  Only Margie and I purchased anything, but it is chock full of cool things. 

Right now, I'm going to close, and head over to Sheila's house to pick her up for our drive to Glen Rose.  Wish us luck.
