Happy Birthday to MEeeeeeeee

yup, It's always about me.  No,not really.  I got up this morning, made coffee, and headed out to get the paper.  I was in my PJ's, but did manage to throw , get this, a swim suit cover up over myself.  Of course, there was a neighbor out front honking their horn, or I wouldn't have bothered.  Got outside, and, well, see for yourself....

Suspicious blue and yellow post it notes all over the flower bed.

Yup, my yard is all "forked" up.....
My car has blue hearts (made using post it notes) on the windows....

I figure it out.... Angie and the girls have decorated the yard and my car.  Alas, my birthday surprise.  I was picking up the post it notes out of the flower bed when Angie and her family pulled up.  They were heading out for San Antonio for the weekend.  Angie has to work there, so the rest of her brood will tour the Riverwalk all weekend.  They stopped for a photo op...

Wish I'd made a real effort to look decent.  Oh well, it is what it is.

Hubby got me flowers and two types of chocolates.  Regular chocolates in case I didn't like the sugar free chocolates he got.  I haven't eaten any of the regular chocolates, but I have had two of the sugar free.  They're not bad, but they will give me tummy problems.  I have to monitor closely how many I eat.  He also got me a card, but he had me being 65, not 64.  Gawd, both are old, so it doesn't matter.  He had forgotten how old he was.  This is the first time in all our years together that he got it wrong.  Hummmmmmm.  Oh well

I have done absolutely nothing today, except email about my upcoming couples tournament, and my upcoming Night Ball Tournament.  The night ball tournament is the hard one.  It involves spending up front money for supplies.  Oh well, it's not all my money.

My hubby, Gary, has asked me at least 20 times in the past two days what time we need to be at Sheila's house.  I think he is thinking he's going to get like chicken, gravy, busciuts, chocolate pie, etc..  I've been very strict about staying on non-gluten products, and so far, he doesn't like my new diet food.  Last night, I made Turkey Spam Hawaain cups.  They were ok, but expensive.  You only wanted to eat one.  I hope Sheila doesn't disappoint him too very bad.  Honestly, as long as there is bread, he'll be happy.

Later, gotta go enjoy some more birthday time.
