I arrived safely in Las Vegas. I’m not sure the guy behind me on the plane ever managed to blow that gigantic lugie out of his nose, we can only hope. The resort is beautiful, of course. We have a ground floor apartment on the courtyard, which is really nice. Beats doing stairs.
I got in, and we three hung out by the pool for a couple of hours, then we headed off for the strip. We took a shuttle from here to the Flamingo. We could have walked the two blocks, but due to construction, it would have been about a 7 block walk. We hit the craps table first. It was warm. You could win a couple, then lose a couple. I got tired of watching my money dwindle away, so I cashed out.
I then invested my money in some slots. Sheila and Mel continued to play craps, they did so-so. We went to dinner at the Grand Lux. It was really good, as usual. I counted my money, and made a plan for the rest of the night, so I’d have enough money for the next few days. After that we went to O’Sheas. More craps. It was cool to cold. I tried the slots there, but they didn’t have any fun ones, so I left the two of them and went to Bills. I did fairly well on the slots, playing Golf Fish, House Party, and Reel em’ In. At 10:30, I went back to the girls, and Sheila and I played video poker. Get this…… for the first time in my life, I actually won some money. I cleared $11.50 after about 1 ½ hour playing. I was estatic. Sheila did NOT fair well.
We all pooped out at around midnight, so we headed home. There is a two hour difference between here and Dallas, so I was really tired. I counted my money, and I had only spent $25 from the time I left Dallas. The fact that I’d won at craps ($125) carried me thru my Gold Fish obsession. The two gals are still asleep, so I thought I’d blog. I don’t have wifi right now, so I’m going to have to figure hour how to do this later. Anyway, I’ll do pictures today.
The two princesses have finally gotten up. My "off" slide switch on my PC (which I never use) got moved to off at some point. The internet here is super fast. Sheila got me logged in, and now we're going to enjoy our morning. Later......
