DSR Black & White Evening

Last night Margie, Gerry, Sheila, Joyce and I went to the theater.  We saw a Black and White play.  They dress the characters in outfits and make up that make the stage appear to be an old black and white movie.  It was a really good one, just like they are every year.

First, we ate at Casa Milagro, a Mexican restaurant.  Everyone enjoyed their meal.  Then we headed to the Eissman Theater for the play.  After the play, all the actors go to the lobby and meet the patrons.  Here is our picture with two of the characters, and in the background, you can see (and recognize by the make up) another of the actors.

Jerry and Margie weren't there at the moment we took the picture.  After that, we all went to the Richardson Bar and Grill.

Would you be surprised if I told you we had a great time?  I didn't think so.  It was a really hopping little bar, well, not really that little.  Most of the people there were playing in a Texas Holdum Tournament.  One man came over and introduced himself, and toasted to us having a good evening.  Hmmmmm.  Not sure what was happening there.  Anyway, we all went home, alone, and it was about 11:30 when I went to bed.

Tonight, Morgan and I went to the show Parental Guidance, with Billy Crystal and Bette Midler.  Morgan loved it, and I really enjoyed it.  Well, except for the jerk of a child that kept kicking my chair.  I would have said something to her big mouthed mother, but I was afraid I'd wake the snoring man if I did.  I bit my lip.  While we were there, Chloe and Gary went to see Les Miserables.  Just got a test from Chloe, and they both liked the show.  They're stopping at El Fenix for Chloe's dinner, then they'll be home.  They plan on going to the Ft. Worth rodeo parade tomorrow.  That will mean I can have the house to myself, and get ready fr our Tapas party tomorrow night.

I'd post more pictures, but I think I used Joyce's camera more than my own.  Hopefully, tomorrow night I'll do a better job.  That's it for now.
