This is a good love story..... in the same sense that The Notebook was a good love story. We four enjoyed it, and all of us gave it a thumbs up. Now, if only I can convince Angie to let me take Chloe (she'll be 13 in a week) to see it. The nudity is miniscule, and language is okay.... I think. I just know all I saw for nudity was his butt, and it was worth seeing. I don't really remember bad language, cause I was so caught up in the story line.
After seeing the movie, we headed to Houlihan's for dinner. We all ended up getting app's for an entree. Sheila had something that looked like poppers, Sue had onion soup and stuffed mushrooms, and Margie and I had Margarite Flatbread Pizza. Ours was good. I took a picture of mine, but it was just before I ate the last bite.
I want to assure you that it tasted a whole lot better than it looks. Margie liked hers also.
Margie also had a little wine with hers, but I had diet coke and coffee. I know, I must be getting ill.

Got home and got caught up with American Idol. Now I can finally relax knowing that there once again will be a few REALLY talented people that will compete. I would like it a lot better if they'd swap out the judges for Cee Lo, Blake and Adam from The Voice. I just love those guys. Anyway.....
Gary and I headed out for Fry's to buy a new phone system for the house, and me a new camera. The pictures above were taken with my cell phone, and it does a great job, just still....... I need another new one that HOPEFULLY, I won't lose or let it get stolen. As we left our driveway, we noticed there were two police cars driving really, REALLY slow down our street. We headed north as usual. There was a four car accident at the corner of our sub-division at Plano and Renner. The police had the intersection blocked, and routed all traffic thru the AT&T parking lot. Gary and I realized that again there were many police cars cruising our immediate neighborhood boundry. We headed to Angie's house (she lives 4 blocks away from us in the same sub-division) cause we decided there were way too many police cars patroling our neighborhood. We counted about 10 by the time we got to her house. We're talking about a 3 or 4 block drive from the intersection to Angie's house. Morgan was home alone, cause she was sick. We got her, called Angie to let her know where Morgan would be, and off we went. Still don't know what was going on, but it sure looked like they were looking for someone. Last time that happened, they were looking for a murder suspect that was in the neighborhood. They did catch that one, so maybe they'll get this one. If I find out anything, I'll post you all. I'm sure your curiosity is killing you, it is me!
We got to Fry's and I found a phone system. The one I found was 3 handsets for $79, and you can use it to interface with your cell phones. Gary found the same phone for $159 but it had 5 handsets. I personally thought the 3 would be fine, but if Gary is wanting to spend that kind of money.... hey I could care less. It was the same phone, but had more handsets. Whatever. We agreed that we'd pick it up on the way out, instead of carrying it while we shopped. I headed off to the camera section, he and Morgan headed to the toy section.
About an hour later, I finally settled on a Panasonic 16X optical szoom, 14.1 MP, full HD, 3D camera. I refused to buy a Sony, though they had one similar for a little less money. It had more pixels, but the zoom wasn't comparable. Also, I hate Sony because they have unique cords for each model. The Nikon I looked at had a few more pixels, but you couldn't zoom during the3 video portion. I spent $269 (base price) on it, but think I got quite a bit for the money.
I headed to find Morgan and Gary. I don't know if you know it or not, but Gary had a speech impediment. He cannot say the word "no". Well, at least not to the g-kids. She had found a flag foot ball set that she just HAD to have. I explained that we already have two footballs at our house, and I don't have any idea howmany at their house, but I know they have at least one. They both explained that this one contains Flags that clip on, so they can play safer by not tackling each other. You know, it's just easier to give in that stand there an argue.
They immediately came home and tested the flag football. It works. I set up the phones, and decided to blog. Tonight is Chloe's girlfriend birthday party. It's a murder mystery party, and it's a ballerina that gets killed. The cake will have the outline of a dead ballerina on it. I hope my new camera battery is fully charged by then, so I can take pictures.
That's it for now. I have to go help Angie set up the party. Later.......
p.s. I can't get spell check to work, for some reason... so if you see and error and feel you must tell someone, tell someone else. I don't really care!
