It's 10:50 am Dallas time (9:50) here and the temperature is 64 degrees. Brrrrr. It is soooo nice. It was a little warm last night inside the condo, so we had the windows open. The rain didn't come in the windows due to the way they're built, so I left mine open all night. You know how you realize you're freezing and need more blankets, but it's too cold to get up and get one? Damn.... where's Gary when I need him. So yes, I stayed in bed too cold to sleep, and too cold to get up. Oh well, it was 4:30 am when I woke up, so I at least slept fairly well. 5 1/2 hours of sleep. So nice. I realized that I had not added the pictures of the police at the trail head, so I wanted to add them while Angie and Chloe are hiking.
I paused this post, went and uploaded them, and here it is an hour and a half later. Ah.... the speed of internet when someone is watching NetFlix, and the camera is uploading at the same time I'm trying to post pictures. Now that I've added the pictures, go back and look at the bottom portion of the post only. I'll update today later. I am going to turn on the heaters and then shower and get dressed for the days activities. Hopefully Angie and Chloe will be back by then.
