When the movie finished, we decided to go to Christina's for dinner. We got outside, and the wind had increased, the temperature had dropped, and it was a winter mix (sleet, snow & rain). It was Brrrrrrrr.... cccccoolldddd ......
We all met up there, and we had all brought our gifts. Margie had drawn Gerry, Gerry had drawn Sheila, Sheila had drawn me, and I had drawn Margie. You can tell from the pictures, money is no object on our swap. Margie got a Dallas Cowboy NFL Gnome for her yard, Gerry got a bottle of wine and a cross (don't you just love those catholics?), Sheila got a yard/house Christmas yard decoration, and I got the best prize..... I got a golfing wine caddy, and a bottle of wine from their weekend wine tasting trip. I also surprised everyone with Santa boxes containing candy. We had a lot of fun. Oh my, friends are so priceless.
Thank goodness the weather improved while we were in the restaurant, because it was clear when we all headed home. Tomorrow, I have 2 more parties. Wow, am I in the Christmas spirit or what?
