Had a successful trip to Houston.... I got there and back without trouble. I vacumed the carpet, cleaned the garage, did some touch-up paint, etc. The funniest part.... the carpet is new, and not vacumed since about 8 months ago. It wasn't dirty, but the fuzz...... this was my 5th bag..... after so much fuzz, they just explode when you take them out.

The girls had their ballet recital. It was held at SMU McFarlin auditorium. We arrived at 3:30 to claim our close to front row seats. I had the responsibility of doing a video, and Angela did snap shots. It was a very LONG recital (aren't they all?). We got out at 7:30. Both girls were the cutest and most talented in their class. No, I'm not partial.

Got home, and the girls decided to spend the night with us on Sat., instead of Fri. Chloe, however, came over so we could take her to El Fenix. Sat., she and I were both sick.... this has gone on for 4 days for both of us. Nasty bug.....
Saturday, we ate at home, and both girls slept here. We got up and enjoyed Mother's Day. The girls got me a tomato planter that hangs from a hook, and the tomato grows upside down. I also got a certificate for a day at the spa with Angie and Chloe. One last, BIG item from the girls, an RX form with 1,000,000 refills for love, chocolates, 5 burps from Chloe, and 5 $%#@'s from Morgan.
The girls did not wait very long to start filling the prescription.
I won't describe that. I also got a dozen do-nuts (hmmmmm wonder why?) and flowers from Gary. Oh yeah, also got a beautiful baloon flower from the girls. What more could a Mimi/Mom want?
After the recital, we all went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. We got home at 9:30. GASP!
Monday, I did housework until 4pm, then got dressed for work. Sheila, Mark, Ralph, and 3 additional PA's met me at the golf course. It was the annual Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament. One of their biggest of the season. We worked until about 8:00. Then we relaxed on the patio with a couple of brewskies, and some delicious bar-b-que dinners. I also brought some home so I wouldn't have to cook tonight.
I have done housework again today. Of course, I've also been working with the Hotmail Support group trying in vain to get my hotmail working from the desktop pc. Thank goodness it works from the laptop.
Tomorrow is the start of the Stonebridge Par-T in Paradise golf tournament. We only start out with the happy hour, parimutual betting, and raffle prizes. Thursday and Friday are the golf games. This should be great fun.... especially since they're prediciting nothing but rain. Oh well, I'll take my cart cover and rain suit.
Later,
