BODY BUILDING AT 24 HOUR FITNESS

Today was a very boring day here.  I washed clothes from vacation and helped Gary clean the garage.  How did I do that?  I went out and supervised him.  That's female slang for bitched.  Seriously, I just stayed out of his way.  He didn't finish, but that's my hubby for ya.

For Chloe's birthday, we bought her a 2 year membership to 24 Hour Fitness.  She went once, to sign up and create her finger print for logging in.  She didn't work out.  Then, we had Spring Break.  Doing it during the week is almost impossible because of all her activities.  We did try and go one Saturday night, but we got there at 8:05 pm, and they closed at 8.  Just wasn't meant to be.

I weighed AFTER Spring Break, and decided I was the fattest I have ever been, and also the fattest I ever want to be.  I started a diet Monday.  Nothing drastic, just trying to cut out eating in the evening and cutting back on carbs.  I was sitting here today not wanting to go for a walk, but decided I needed to do something. So, are you sitting down?  I went to 24 Hour Fitness and worked out.  I only did one circuit on the machines, but I also did the bicycle before my workout, and the treadmill (walking only at a good speed) afterwards.  I was gone for about an hour.  I think it's done wonders for me already, an am posting a picture of me so you can judge for yourself.  Gary couldn't tell any difference.  What do you think?

Angie thought I looked good.  She took the picture.  I thought about putting it on Facebook, but decided to wait till I get my thighs a little more toned.  Notice you cannot see my butt... it still needs work also.

I did make a HUGE pot of soup today.  It's nothing but veggies and chicken broth (homemade broth at that).  I didn't have any tomatoes, so I tried adding a bottle of Spicy Bloody Mary mix.  That was a disaster, so I threw it out and started again.  I ended up not having any tomato product in it.  I am eating it when I am starved.  Honestly, it doesn't taste very good, but it doesn't taste bad.  I didn't eat very much of it. Of course, I had to cook dinner for Gary and me, so I made Spicy Garlic Chicken, Chinese style.  We both loved it.  I looked at the package (Wang Ferry or whatever it's called) and one portion was only 450 calories.  That's not bad.  However, if you prepared it, it increased the calories to about 560.  I thought about eating it raw, but decided it wasn't that many more calories and prepared it according to directions.  I don't know if it's because it requires olive oil, or if microwaving rice cause the calorie count to go up.

As you can tell, I really don't have anything new to tell.  WAIT!  They located Ivan, the man from the RV park.  He was in San Antonio.  As I said, he never has done anything like that.  However, he went for a drive, and decided to visit San Antonio.  He also decided to spend the night there.  His cell phone was dead, so he didn't call anyone, and didn't think it would be that big a deal.  Anyway, he's safe and sound.  He will probably never do that again.

That's it for now.  Think I'll do a few sit ups then call it a nite.
