VIVA Last Vegas (Sorry Elvis and Ann)

Yesterday, I invited all the gals to meet me at the AMC at Firewheel so see Last Vegas.  Well, it appears only Sheila and I "don't have a life", cause she was the only one to show up.  No big deal.  She paid like $10.50 for her ticket, and since I'm a senior I paid $9.50.  OUCH!  On Tuesdays, it only $6.50 for seniors.  Note to self.... only go on Tuesday nights.

Okay, I'll quit gripping about ticket prices.  Sheila arrived and I was in line buying hot chocolate.  I paid about $6 for a medium, then they informed me my Stubbs card (like a discount card.... they give you cash towards purchases when you spend so much....yeah...probably a rip off).  So, my bill suddenly jumps to $16.  Sheila spends $5 for a pretty big diet coke or something like that.

The AMC did away with their game area, and added a bar.  Off I go to the bar, and I order a shot of Bailey's for my hot chocolate.  He informed me it was $4.50 for one shot, and only $4 for two.  Hey, it sounded like a bargain, so I ordered 2 shots.  Off we go to the movie.  Our favorite seats were available.... front row with rail in front of them so we can put our feet up.

If you're old like me, you'll think all of these guys are handsome.  However, Michael Douglas is the best looking.... BUT.... we already know he's been exposed to HPV.... caused by oral sex.  So.......

Enough gossip.  It was a cute show.  After the movie, Sheila and I went to Friday's, met the new manager, and sucked up to him.  We can now get custom cooked shrimp, though it's not on the menu.  We rated the movie....and I took Sheila's picture.

Well, she really wasn't wearing a glow in the dark party hat, so I had her lean to her left and retook it.

She still had her reading glsses on, but doesn't she look smart?

Long story short, we both gave it one thumbs up.

Now, for some really surprising news from my house....... I went to the doctor today.  No big deal, but I did ask him if he could diagnose Gary's back / leg pain in one office visit.  He said yes, he could take care of getting a diagnosis, but he might have to have an MRI, etc.  He also said that their practice is getting ready to stop accepting medicare insurance, so he needed to hurry.  I came home and told Gary, and now.....sit down before reading further.....

Gary told me he hurts so much just walking the dog, he'd like to go as soon as possible, could I make him an appointment.  WTF?  I actually almost fainted.  I said... YOU, want ME, to make you an appointment as soon as possible?  Sure enough, so he handed me his medicare card and sat with me while I called.  They are seeing him tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.  I am so excited for Gary.  I am hoping he can get some rapid results to whatever he is going to get.  HE thinks he needs a hip replacement, but I doubt that.  I figure it's in his back.  I don't care, as long as he gets some relief.

Well, that's it for now.  I'm going to call it a night.  I probably need to go to Curves in the morning.  I think I'll take my camera....... maybe not.
