Halloween 2009 and Cat Poop Cleaning Detail

I must admit, I am quite attractive with my new face lift costume. Dang, it is hard to be humble. I actually wore this to one of my couples tournaments Halloween night. We did have a costume contest, but I didn't win.

Here was the winning costume. She came out dressed up, and hung posters (yes, the dog was attached to her butt) asking for help finding her lost dog. When questioned, she said the last time she saw it, he was laying on the couch. She sat down, and has not seen him since. It was just too cool. Speaking of cool, it was so hot, I couldn't wear my costume to play golf. Her husband came as Swine Flu. He had on an SF (like superman) outfit with a cape, but he had pig's ears on his hat, a pig tail, and H1N1 monogrammed on his cape. It was really cool.
I got home around 8pm, and Angie and Morgan were still in the driveway passing out treats. They brought over Angie's patio table/fire pit and had a pinon wood fire going. It was really sort of cool. The house was not decorated when I left, but the girls and Gary worked on it before nightfall. It didn't look all that bad.
Here's a pix of Chloe and her friend in our front yard. Chloe is on the left, and she is a vegetarian vampire (don't ask me.... ask her! She'll tell you it's because she didn't want to put fake blood on her face. Go figger)

Here's Angie and Morgan, who was a Ninja. The head gear was off by the time I got home.

A few lights do wonders!

Got up Sunday, and good to my promise to Sheila, I went over to feed and water the cats. I'm not sure how it happened, but on the phone we agreed I'd feed and water them. In her e-mail, she also asked me to clean the litter box. Well, how hard could that be?
Before..... Angie once had a pot bellied pig. The damned thing would go to the litter box, step in, then proceed to do him business. Unfortunately, he always did his business BESIDE the box because he only would put his front legs in the box. What a mess. Well, I don't think Sheila's cat even tried to go to the box. I suspect it's like my daughters dauschand, Annie. If she gets mad, she'll make an effort to poop in Eric's closet. If she's here, she opts for the area around my PC>

OKAY..... here's a before of the litter box (and the floor above)

Here's one after. Yes, I cleaned up both. The pix below looks like I just moved the poop to the bottom of the pix, but I have no idea what that is.... .cause it all went in the trash in the garage.
Me thinks Sheila owes me a cold beer! Here are the afters..... in case I have to prove I did clean them.

I decided to feed the cats WET cat food, in addition to replacing the dry food. Paisley was my buddy, and scarffed up the wet cat food like there was no tomorrow.

Checkers wasn't so friendly, but once Paisley had finished, I put some down for Checkers. Dang, Paisley ran back over and wolfed down the 2nd can also. Oh well...... Checkers will just have to learn.
The news report for the weather summary for Oct. said it was the 7th wettest month since they started tracking that type of data. It was, however, the worst ever for sunshine. They said they actually have a way of measuring the sunlight for the month. Halloween was beautiful, just muddy from previous rains. Nov. has started out beautifully. It hasn't rained all month (I know.... 2 whole days), and it's not in the forecast for another week. We are all having a ball.
Stella has spent the entire day in the back chasing anything that moves. She found a raccoon tonight, so we're having trouble getting her to stay in bed. Doesn't bother me, but Dad gets upset if she won't stay in bed. Finally just shut the bedroom door, and she can't get out.
That's it for now. The maids were here Friday, and the house was sooooo clean. The girls were here Friday night, along with a few friends, and now the floors are a mess. I'm going to try and play catchup on the housework tomorrow, and hopefully golf Wed and Thurs. If anything exciting happens, I'll blog. If not, I may blog anyway.
Hope you all had a great Halloween!
