The trust part comes in because Sheila and I have our eyes closed, and Gary T is telling her how to drive. This is back seat driving at it's best, or maybe I should say worst. I even took the picture with my eyes closed, under Gary's guidance. It came out pretty good. Honestly, we decided we didn't trust him enough, so Sheila opened her eyes. We made it home safely. Another chance to shoot 100+ was ruined.
Thursday morning, I got up with vertigo, and despite having trouble walking, I went to the golf course so I could help Margie with the Texoma tournament. We had approximately 55 golfers arriving in the rain to play in the Texoma tournament. Dang.... I shot 113, which really sucked. Margie won something, Sheila won something, Gerry won something, and even Sue won something. But did Connie win anything????? NOOOOOOOO! The golf gods were not with me today. I hit every sand trap, every water hazard, you name it, I was in trouble. Oh well......
Today was another cloudy day. Angie called and asked if I'd go to lunch with her, so off we headed for Thai food. I ordered Pad Thai, and she ordered Thai Pad Chicken. The restaurant was Swidaki or something like that (220 W. Campbell). The soup smelled weird, so neither of us ate it. Then comes our hot steaming entrees. The place was packed, by the way. Angie couldn't stand the smell of her meal, so we traded. I couldn't stand the taste of either, so we asked for our food to go, and we went to Casa Millagro. Lunch ended up costing double..... but we're going to feed Eric the Thai food. I'm not sure why we're going to make him suffer.... but hey, give it Eric, he'll try anything.
It's raining cats and dogs, and my loving daughter is cleaning my house and here I am blogging. It just doesn't seem right.... guess I'll go make her a cold drink!
