Gerry had already seen the movie, so she opted to just meet us for dinner. The four of us went. In case you aren't familiar with the movie...
CIA officer Claire Stenwick and MI6 agent Ray Koval have left the world of government intelligence to cash in on the highly profitable cold war raging between two rival multinational corporations. Their mission? Secure the formula for a product that will bring a fortune to the company that patents it first.
It started out with the stars at an embassy. Then the first of many (way too many) flashbacks started, followed by a flash forward, etc. Problem was, they kept repeating the same dialogue every time they met. The dialogue was about her not knowing him....... never mind....
All five of us gave it a "What's up with that?"
Dinner was at Fish City Diner... and it was good, but our waiter was the best we've had in a long time. He was so much fun. We all ended up having only 2 drinks each, and all went home sober as a judge. Whoops.... in Dallas County, that could mean falling down drunk if you're a judge!
Today was supposed to be my FSGA debut, but we had storms come thru around 11:30 last night. I got up this morning, and it was 57 degrees, and wind was gusting up to 20 or 30 mph. I decided to forget the golf, and slept in. I did go hit balls around 1pm, and did half way decent. Tomorrow is Telco Golf League night..... we'll see what transpires.
Hopefully I can apply myself tomorrow.
