Halloween Day

Big exciting day. I went to PT (physical therapy) for 2 hours. It hurt while it was happening... but I can honestly say it felt better when they stopped, and even better after a couple of hours. I had a pretty rough night for some reason.

Ok, for all you wine buffs.... I went to Wall-Mart for some wine. They have a new brand that is made expressly for Wall-Mart by the same folks that make it for Goody's in California. There it's called Two Buck Chuck wine.... and surprise... it costs $2.00. Well, since Wall-Mart is such a high dollar store, they charge $2.97 a bottle, and it's called Oak Leaf. It was reviewed in the Dallas Morning News this past week, and got rave reviews. So..... I went and bought some. The paper only reviewed four types, but I lucked out. The truck had just arrived (they are selling it faster than they can stock it) and I got a white Zinfidel that is new. I'm saving it for next weekend.... so you'll have to wait til then for the review. However, getting 6 bottles for under $18 was pretty cool.

Since we're talking about prices.... get this. A whole chicken (you know..raw.. no feathers... not cut up) is expensive. It was $23 at Central Market (free range cage free and air blown), $8. at Tom Thumb, and I only paid $4.50 at Wall-Mart. Don't get too excited though, if it wasn't for the wine I wouldn't ever buy groceries at Wall-Mart. I just don't like the people that shop there. This was just FYI.

Dang... this post is just too exciting.... I'm going to close and try and find a life.
