My Memory is Returning....Ryder Cup Disaster

I am finally off full time drugs, and thinking fairly clearly. Wow, this has been one tough surgery. It is hurting a lot more than I thought it would. Thank goodness Angela was here to help. Gary does what he can..... but I do NOT want him helping me with my "personal" things. Enuff Said!

Here are some flashbacks of the previous days I didn't post. This is for the Ryder Cup.... I failed miserably.

Gary T. picked me up at 6:50 a.m., and off we headed for the Ryder Cup Tournament. Got there, and Gary gave me my birthday present.... a dozen PRO V1 golf balls. We then went to the practice range, where I hit so well while warming up..... it was short lived. It was all down hill from there. I actually got to play 14 holes before I was out of the tournament. Randy F. had paired him and me together, and at least he won his match. We both agreed that we need to figure out how these guys keep such a high handicap, and always play their career round in a tournament. Here is a picture of our foursome. I had to give Marcellus one stroke, and he shot a 41 on the front nine.... pretty good for someone with an 18 handicap. I lost 5-4, and Randy won 3-2. Left to right... Jim Marcellus Me Randy F.

Don Phelps lost 5 and 4 to Mike Johnston , & Carlos Silva lost 7 and 5 to James Jackson
The matches are now 4 points to each league.

We are now tied with 5 points to each league so it has come down to the last two matches.

Thanks to the last two, Larry and Gary, we won the cup. Go team..... I was obviously the best player on the "other" team.
