Got up today, and couldn't load my Sky Caddie. Called my bud Gary T. and he came by and picked it up. It must be my firewall or something. I just couldn't wait to find out what the problem was, cause I had lots to do this afternoon, Mon, and Tues.... mostly to get ready for Bandera and the Flying L.
I did manage to take Stella for a walk while the "Guy's" went to IHOP for their regular Sunday breakfast. We found one large snake skin... guess it's skin shedding time again. Stella played in the creek for a while, then we came home. Stella is so cute.
Mark was "supposed" to go with me to the dedication of Don Whitt Elementary in Sasche, but he didn't answer the phone. Margie called, so she and I went together. Don is the husband of Gerry, one of the Fab Four (Gerry, Margie, Connie and Sheila). Her husband served as Superintendent of Wylie School District for something like 27 years. He was honored today at the dedication of the elementary school bearing his name. It was a beautiful school, as you can see. Don is one of
the nicest people you will ever meet. He well deserves this honor. We are so proud of him, and as he said, he had his best friend (Gerry) by his side thru it all. I hate to say it, but Gerry is really sweet too.
