EXCITEMENT - New IPHONE is Fantastic!

Okay, we have NOT closed on the house.... and won't this week. They sent me some info today that the owners have had to re-apply for a higher loan interest rate because they were not moving into the house within the next 30 days. Seems they have multiple residences in various locations, and therefore this one must be financed as an "income investment" residence. The loan agent thought everything would be completed no later than July 3. Well, isn't that just dandy? Now, I only have eight more days to live "one day at a time". The deal we've worked out is they MUST call me the afternoon of the day before closing. The loan officer we dealt with informed us that the changes they're required to make were unknown to them until something like 4 months ago. Has to do with all the bank regulations they've enacted. Damned Obama!

I got my beautiful new Iphone Wednesday. All I had time to do with it was charge it. I played with it some on the way to golf with the Telco league. Gary, Sheila, Carlos, and a host of other people again played "team best ball". Tah Dah! Gary T and I shot 29 (remember, it's 9 holes), which no one else could beat. Hey... it paid for my golf. Sheila provided the beer.... all in all, it was a good day. Oh.... it was like 100 degrees when we started playing... so I had a million cups of water and only 2 beers. It was just toooo danged hot. We also bypassed the opportunity to get even hotter by not playing an additional 9 holes like we do when it's cooler.

Today, Angie and I went shopping. I got a couple of accessories for my Iphone. Man, it is sooooo cool. I have added a flashlight app, a game app, a bible app (remember, I've started going to church on Sunday's with Angie and her family), and something else. I'm going to add the GPS and "maybe" the golf GPS app. I'm still studying up on that one. It does cost, and we all know how frugal I am. I love that phone. I can surf the web, email from it, read my email, etc. It has a fantastic phone directory. I just have trouble finding it.... if I lay it down for one second, either Angie or Chloe has it and are busy games on it.

I'm posting a pix that Angie took of Chloe. I think she is so beautiful. It is hard to believe she was born with a cleft on the left side of her mouth. It's even harder to believe how fast she is growing up. Angie doesn't let Chloe wear make-up. This was taken while Megan was here, and they were all dressed up for playing rock star while using the Wii Guitar Hero game.

Morgan.... she's a different free spirit. Instead of looking girlie.... she opted for her dead, come back as a ghost creature look. She is such a hoot!

Gary T sent over a dinosaur jaw fossil. Chloe and Morgan were in 7th heaven. I don't remember what type it is, but Chloe has spent the last 2 days on the PC researching it.

She's pretty sure it's related to the Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie as she likes to call it. Morgan will believe anything Chloe says. Morgan has been frog catching the last couple of days. If it's not 3 dogs running loose in the house, it's turtles and frogs. Morgan NEVER lacks for entertainment.

We all got together tonight and I did KaBob baskets (Sheila, Margie and Joyce will know what I mean). We had pork, new potatoes, zucchini, onions, peppers, and carrots. I also made grilled bread. The grilled bread was a favorite for everyone. Dang, sometimes the simplest things.

Angie and I also went shopping at Sprout's today. I'm trying some probiotic crap to help with my Ulcerative Colitis. It cost a fortune to do it, but I'm going to try it for at least 2 weeks to see if it will help. If it does, then maybe I can stop some of the harsher drugs I take. I take 9 pills (3 pills 3 times a day) right now for that one thing. It's a pain in the ass.... so is taking the pills. THAT was SUPPOSED to be funny!

Don't know how the FWGA gals did today at golf, but it was the end of month tournament. Had planned on going to meet Sheila after the tournament and have lunch. but I got tied up on the phone with the Realtors, then decided it was so late, I just needed to go to the grocery. Hopefully, I'll have something exciting to write about tomorrow.
