THANK GOODNESS....

Nothing exciting about my second round of golf yesterday, except I improved my score by appx. 20 strokes. That's pathetic. However, consider who I was partnered with.... Mr. Mooney. Anyone who plays in the FGA knows that I had my hands full. Anyway, I will now tell the truth, I had a net 99 on the first day at the Champs and Masters, and a yesterday on the Lakes, I had a net 76. I was at least 3 places from the bottom for a total 2 day score.... whoo....eeee!

Gary T didn't win anything, nor did Malcom H., but Frankie M. (telco league friend) won first in his flight, beating out Lynn S. who came in second, and Ralph S. who came in third. Maybe the rest of us were just not in the correct flight. That's a thought to consider.

I did see Margie S. yesterday at the club. She was there to eat breakfast (I presume) with Ralph and Lynn, and to make sure they got teed off. That can be a problem if Frankie is in your team. He's a wild one. He did shoot some great golf, as did Margie's two men.

Got home from golf yesterday, and can you believe it.... my house was filthy. Gee, I wonder why. Angie and family, including the 2 grand dogs, came over for grilled burgers. We wouldn't let Morgan grill zuchinni, but I did let her use the new mandoline to slice onions. She was in 7th heaven. She had a hot dog, while the rest of us (dogs included) dined on grilled Angus burgers (frozen patty's from Sam's) that were really good. Easy also, just slap the frozen suckers on the grill and they cook perfectly. I bought 1/3 pound size, and after they were grilled, they remained almost the same size as the buns. Guess I'll count this blog as a cooking clue. Angie made her famous guacamole, and I did Pico de Gallo. Oink Oink Oink.

I have not heard from Sheila, so I presume all is well with her Mom. Oh, t'would be nice to go on vacation to New Mexico. Wait, I can't even think like that. My kitchen would be a disaster when I returned. I need to start building an outdoor kitchen. MAYBE in the front driveway.

I'm off to clean house.
If you have a 6 year old blonde child come to your door selling zuchinni recipes, or sliced onions. Please buy from her! Here is a pix of Morgan...

Here's a pix of Chloe hauling her around on Dad's scooter...
