Sunday Recap

Gosh, I forgot to blog about Gary, Eric, Chloe and Morgan going fishing on Sunday.  They went to Lake Lavonne.  It's like the 3rd time that Gary and Morgan have gone since it FINALLY got enough water to be filled again.  They never had a bit until Sunday.  Morgan conned Gary into taking her fishing so he could use his new lures.  When Eric and Chloe found out, they wanted to go also.  Here is their photo  op..... not bad for pictures from a phone..

Eric actually had his fishing license checked by a game warden.  Thank goodness he had one.  Morgan caught the most fish, and also the first fish.  It cost her a ton of hooks, that girl is stubborn.  She insisted on using worms, and she like to let them float on the bottom.  For every fish she caught, she lost about 5 hooks, cause she'll move it every 5 minutes and usually gets the hook caught on something and loses it. 

Chloe did catch a fish using a lure, all by herself.  She actually caught it on one of the lures I got Gary for our anniversary.  Morgan was really proud of me for getting him one that works.  Chloe told me the only lure they'd bit on was the yellow.  Yup, I'm really good..... I got 6 different colored lures. 

They caught sand bass, and Morgan caught the only crappie.  Gary doesn't like to eat many fish, and sand bass is one of the ones he doesn't like.  There was no sense in cleaning only one crappie so they gave them all away to a man that had 4 kids, and looked like they really needed some free fish.

Gary came home and ate with me, but Eric and the girls headed for El Fenix for dinner.  What a surprise!
